First Baptist Church has a rich history
of faithful preaching of the Gospel.
This corner lot between Forest and Bloomfield Ave was purchased in 1848 for $200.00
The actual building was built in 1850 and was composed of only a few families.
As time went on
First Baptist Church began to acquire more land in which trees and other plants began to grow on. This picture was taken in 1934.
